We are flying with Ryanair from UK to Malaga and are planning to bring with us, as a check in luggage, a package about 90cm x 80cm x 10cm. The Ryanair website on this is a little confusing (they mention combined dimensions of 81x119x119cm which seem very large). Does anybody have the experience or know how it works, please. We are happy to pay the extra cost.

That'll be the size of a suitcase. You can check in 10Kg or 20Kg. Your's seems well within size. Maybe you could put it in a cheap suitcase to be sure!
