Hi, can l ask is it possible to use our UK Blue badge in Spain, bringing car next year, many thanks. Derek

I emailed almost all the Ayuntamietes in the Malaga area. Not everyone replied but the nes that replied said, ‘No’.

My friend wanted to use disabled blue badge parking as her husband is now a wheelchair user, but unfortunately Benalmadena town hall do not accept the uk blue badge. I believe it may be possible to apply for a Spanish one but exceptionally complex needing Spanish health assessments etc. I f you are in Spain regularly it might be worth investigating but that’s all I know I’m afraid. Perhaps try the foreign residents department at your local town hall first.
