My husband and I are doing some research into a permanent move to Antequera. We are both in our early 50’s, don’t intend to seek work but know we must have private cover to secure residency permits. Any advice on companies/policies/level of cover would be greatly appreciated.
Hi I have just been researching various companies re health insurance.
For residency you may need the higher premium depending on your area.
Some don't cover existing medical conditions.
I am in the process of paperwork for my medical cover waiting on it to be approved.
I have gone with DKV just get quotes on line from various companies then you can compare.

Hi. For residency, they will not accept a co-payment plan, so you will need full health insurance. Mine is 60Euros a month. We were suprised to get quotes of up to 400 euros a month.

Hi could you please give me the nane of the health insurance which is about 40 euros a month as cigna and bupa are quoting me 200 plus a month.

DKV medical insurance company based in Spain do excellent cover and my family of 3 is 120 euros per month x
