Hi we are thinking of renting in Fuente Piedra, My husband is an avid fisherman and wondered if there is fishing allowed  either in the lake or near by, would be a deal breaker if not, bless him .  

I would be interested in buying a property  in Fueta da Piedra, particularly attractive because of its position with regard to surrounding  cities, its proximity to the mainline railway service and there being a thriving ex-pat community as well as a traditional Spanish lifestyle.

From this forum it does appear to have some downsides with possible very hot summers and at times very low winter temperatures, and a water problem which I believe is being addressed. ( And it cannot be the only southern Spanish municipality where it is advised to use bottled water for drinking and cooking).

There does however appear to be a large number of houses for sale for a municipality of this size. Is there anything else going on making the village a less attractive spot to move to? Any insider knowledge would be greatly appreciated. It looks and sounds just so good.

Hi we are looking for secondhand outdoor furniture and would like to ask members of any charity shops or secondhand shops around the Costa del Sol but as we live in Fuente de piedra we can travel inland any ideas would be great!!
