Want an electrician to check the electrics at our house in Fuente as keeps tripping even when we’ve hardly got anything on.

Can't help with an electrician but, if you haven't already, it might be worth checking with your electricity company as to which tariff you are on? Electricity in Spain is banded and it's possible that you are on a very low usage rate band which would quickly trip out if you have too much running at once. What we consider normal or even low UK usage could easily take you over the Spanish threshold if you are on a low usage band. If that's the issue it's very easy to increase to a higher usage band. Of course, it could be a more fundamental problem but it's worth considering.

Hope you get sorted quickly.

Hi, thanks for your post. When we bought our house some years ago that was indeed the problem so we upgraded at that time, the current situation is a different problem

However, we’ve now got electric to work without it tripping so hopefully problem resolved.

Thanks for your reply.

It happened after we tried the Washing machine and dryer for the first time yesterday.

All the other fuses are working it's just the socket fuse that has tripped.
