We are both over 50 and looking to move in 2023.  We are currently teaching ourselves basic Spanish.  I would be looking for admin work, either in a workplace or remotely and my partner, who currently works in Post Office Security will be looking for bar work or similar.

Before you can apply for a working visa, do you need to secure a job?  If so, how long will the Employer hold the job for you until you can move over to Spain and how long does it take to obtain the working visa?

We would be grateful for any advice.

I am home-owner in Spain but I am non-resident.  We visit our holiday home a number of times a year and need to hire a car as we live inland.  What is the position regarding European driving permits in Spain?  Someone has told me that we need to have one since Brexit. Any information would be helpful as we are due to travel to Spain next week.

Just before the pandemic, I sold my flat in Paris 15 and put my personal gear into a local storage facility.

Now I am back in Malaga, I would like to rent a medium SUV or people mover with laydown seats to go to Paris and bring my stuff back to my flat in Malaga.  I am not fussed whether the vehicle is new or old - just insured and reliable.

I am 87 and in great health, with no insurance claims for 25 years and both Australian and International driving licenses.

I need a vehicle for four days so I can take my time and make some calls on the way back.

I plan to leave during the week starting Monday 14th and returning to Malaga after four days of slow and enjoyable driving.

Can anybody point me to a nice result?   Nothing is cast in concrete, so I am most flexible on dates and times.
