Hi there, myself my partner and our friend are moving just outside Trabuco from the UK at the end of october and i want to get our TVs and broadband sorted out asap.  In the uk we have sky and i am keen to get as near as i can to that in spain ie all the english speaking channels we enjoy.  Which satellite company would you recommend, although we are all learning spanish is there a company i can contact who speak english so i can explain what we are looking for.  Also our vodafone phones have no signal up where we will be living which providers are best for your area as we need to get mobile phone contracts and where should we go.  Lastly is there a place in town where expats meet for coffee so we can get to know people ?  thanks all for the advice TRACY X

Sat difficult now, most UK channels have been removed from the south beam, if you have a UK Sky box card with an address UK you can bring box and get a few channels with larger dish than UK. Sky News, CNN, Dave, FI Sports, Arts, LBC radio and a few others. If good internet you can get UK TV with a 'VPN' (this stops then knowing what country you are in, then you can use iPlayer with UK address )  People here sell what are called "Mag boxes" which stream TV from UK via internet, but note not legal & you might lose connection if busted. Internet is king here & many areas fast connection, I suggest you sort this out first. Not easy if in low population area and people in remote areas pay a premium to get Sat internet.

Hi, welcome to Trabuco.

We don't live there we come and go so have Internet you can switch on/off. Pop into D-tic in Trabuco on Calle Agua and speak to Domingo. TV - we had a dish fitted as part of a one off fee and get basic UK channels. We also discovered we can now log into our Netflix account too.

You will often see lots of English people sitting have a coffee in the Plaza in town. Its a very friendly place and the Spanish people are very welcoming too.
