Hi Kiki,

Further to the other helpful posts.

There should be an RCD or similar current sensing breaker marked Calentador in your distribution unit.

This breaker should trip (open circuit) if the unit develops a fault.

Also useful to know if you need to isolate when fault finding or replacing.

The basic water heaters 'without an external heat control' have an internal thermostat that cuts out at 75C, the ones with an external control have an economy setting at 65C, the lower you set the more economic, 55C fine for most use.

Well good to know that...when it comes to replacement there will be a few things to think about.
