Hi,

Have you been to the area to visit? I suggest you take at least two weeks first to see what its like, trying to advise others is difficult as what floats my boat may not suit you. It's cheap enough to rent a place for a couple of weeks, and as long as you get out and about that's enough time to know if it's right for you or not.

Hi, Thanks for the advice.

Yes I will rent somewhere first.  I have bought in Spain before,  and not researched the area first. Big mistake

Hi, we are researching Torrex Park, did you finally move there, if not, can you tell us why and where you did finally settle.

Any information would be appreciated.

22 years in Torrox Park, first a wooden house in Camping El Pino then an apartment close by. Can't fault it!

Just a thought, you can rent a wooden cabin from Camping El Pino itself, then you'd really be able to get experience of life there.
