estate agent wants 6k deposit within 3 days
Does any uk members on here have any recent experience with good lawyers they could reccomend?

I would not pay a 'reservation deposit' to the Estate Agent until cleared with a lawyer, you can try What's App this Lawyer Alex on34-649681833.he is a specialist, very good and speaks perfect English.
If not him make sure you have a property lawyer. There are many technicalities best dealt with by a professional, the actual deposit contract explained below. Don't be rushed by the agent, this is a country with 3 million empty dwellings, also note when you do pay an actual deposit it goes into a special safe account, not the lawyers account. Good luck, make sure all the boxes ticked before pay any money to anyone. Note on average the costs of buying with taxes end up about 11% above the buying price, so most properties marked up expecting people to over at least 10% less to allow for that.

I agree you need a property specialist lawyer. Don't pay an estate agent without legal advice.
