Having lost my Maltese puppy a few months ago to Parvovirus, I’m now ready to have another doggy.  Rather than go to a breeder I’m contacting local Rescue and joining forums like this one.  I live in an apartment and would rather a small puppy or younger dog, although more importantly it’s about finding the right one. If anyone has one needing a new home or knows of someone who has I’d love to hear from you.

Hi - good for you wanting to rescue! Costapet in La Cala may well be able to help, as may ACE further up the La Cala golf road, or PAD down the side of Royal Vet Hospital. Good luck in finding the right one!

Thank you, I’m contacting Animal Rescue Centres.  Sadly, all those available so far are Podencos and I’m fairly sure not the perfect breed for apartment life.  Fingers crossed though!

I know that Costapet had a couple of Yorkies not long ago as friends of mine were interested. If you've got Facebook you could contact Natalya Jimenez directly as she deals with the adoptions.

Hi, Last Chance Animal Rescue are always looking for new owners for rescue dogs/puppies. Jacqui Ross runs the charity, I am sure she would be happy to hear from you 😊
