Blinds for glass windows and doors

The blinds do fix to the profile at the top of each window but said profile is aluminium, never pvc. In addition, you need to take care when drilling in this area as behind the profile is toughned glass that shatters easily when touched by drill etc.

thank you so much for the advice ! No I did not know it was aluminium and yes behind the profile is glass. That’s what made me nervous about drilling. The mijas company told me they have special fixings to hang the blinds but it was far too expensive for what we want to pay.

What I have found since sending my query is that an online website blind company in the UK ‘blinds2go’ now have a no drilling system but I need to find out how that works so I will be in touch with them about that too !!
