Hi all

Still looking at theat dream of moving to Spain and especially liked to look of Manilva when watching a programme about it on Uk tv , wondering what’s it really like ? Is there a good English speaking population . Does it have affordable long term house rental options ? And is there options or opportunities for self employed work

When you say Manilva, do you mean the Ayuntamiento which includes Sabinillas and Duquesa or do you mean Manilva village? Large English speaking population in Sabinillas and Duquesa but not in Manilva village. The Ayuntamiento does a lot for its foreign residents, most of whom are British. It's a very nice place to live. Finding long term rentals is not easy, not much available but there are many agents, you just have to keep trying and give them your details. Prices are affordable compared to other parts of the Costa. I don't know about work opportunities, I suppose it depends on what you do.
