Hi, I am aprehensive about retireing in Spain because i am 66 in November, even thou i am in good health i have heard that you need health insurance also concerned about home care needs in the future as i am single.

Also i beleive you need to prove that you have approx £24,000 per year to support yourself if living in Spain, i can afford this currently but maybe only for 15 years depending on my investments.

Having said all that a am tempted to bite the bullet and buy something in Estapona and if their is a good expat community i am sure i would get buy with advice, regards dealing with day to day things like internet providers, utility providers and reputable trademan.

Join Adana as a dog walker;  you will meet some lovely lady dog walkers who volunteer for Adana animal shelter.  They have a coffee morning in Sabilinas once a month.  Great way of meeting people.
