Hi there,
I am a UK citizen and have been offered work in Gibraltar. We however want to live in or nearby to Estepona. After searching google I am confused on what type of Visa we would be required to apply for this and if anyone who has experience of this can give me any tips or advise on how easy this is
Any help would really be appreciated!

Indeed and might get complex as would become a tax resident, it would need preprofessional advice from accountants.

Contact a company called Upsticks who can advise you and help with all parts of the process the NLV sounds like what you need but you can’t work with that one.
