Hi. I received my residency end of January 2021. When do I pay taxes? I rent a property here. I know I have to start paying in Spain before I can reclaim tax back from UK and I know tax year here is Jan to Dec.

Also does anyone know of an English speaking tax consultant in the Manilva area?

Thanks. Suecha1

Hi Suechai

Welcome to this Forum.

1st Tax Return to be submitted  by 30th June 2022 for the Tax Year January 1,2021 to 31st December 2021. Tax is normally collected in two payments June & November every year. You can contact "Gabriels Cracium" (Foreigners Department) at Rios Espinosa ,C/Mijas, Portal 2,1 A-B, Sabinillas, Manilva on 952 890 929(Ext. 4) or email : [email protected]. She speaks  good English and has been dong my Tax since 2011. This Gestor also arranges Drivers Licences, Digital Certificates for Tax as well as Spanish Health Service etc . She charges é60.00 when you collect your Assessment Forms. It is also possible to do split payments for Annual Tax.

Hope this helps

Nigel
