Thank you for your message. LIke you, I can't get these poor little dogs out my mind..I know animal abuse/neglect goes on all over the world, but when you actually see it, you feel so useless when you cannot do anything to ease their suffering. Just clean water and shade from the heat would ...

...be a good start. How can that be so hard for the local people/neighbours/Guardia Civil of Comares.. (ive tried them all) ... it won't get better till they see its their responsibility as locals to help eradicate cruelty thats taking place under their noses.

As the saying go's... All that is necessary for evil to exist is that good men do nothing.

That clearly is not you Kerri. You have done so much. Thank you for all you've done. The world needs more people like you. 🙏

Yes Dawn, I totally agree with you.  The Animal Party is getting stronger and they are fighting against animal neglect in Spain fiercely.  I also personally know Spanish people who are fighting for all animals but unfortunately too many are old school.  This is particularly noticeable in the Campos where dogs are kept for protection.  When this generation dies off maybe the next will have a little softer heart for this unnecessary suffering.

Also unfortunately the people who do not care about their animals care even less about a Non Spanish telling them what to do.

Very sorry this has clouded your views and damaged your holiday and plans but I totally get why it has.  If you were along the Coast you would not see this much.

Best wishes to you, Kerri
