I am moving out to the Comares area soon and would be looking for work driving a fork lift truck.

I am not sure if there would be any work doing this but i am open to any casual work really.

Trouble for me is Comares is a very quiet area so any work available down as far as Velez Malaga would do me just fine.

will be out within the next year or sooner if work comes up.

Think you will find it pretty difficult to get work in this area. There is high unemployment here compared to the UK. Do you speak Spanish ? If not, even more difficult to get work.

There is a huge pool of skilled labour in this area still not employed since the financial crisis. You're going to be very lucky indeed to pick up the very occasionally job with British immigrants who don't speak Spanish. I doubt you would ever get work from Spanish builders or warehouses even if you speak native level Spanish. Sorry to be a downer, but east of Malaga is the wrong area for this type of work. And skilled people's charges are commensurately very low, self employment charges very high compared with UK. Barely scratch a living time I'm afraid!

You also mention moving out here in the next year, I assume you mean sometime in 2020? Bear in mind, that as things stand at the moment with Brexit, you need to be living out here and registered as a Spanish resident before the end of 2020 otherwise your abilty to work out will be severly restricted. In other words you need to be living out here well before the end of the year and be able to satisfy all the requirements to be a Spanish resident, such as showing you have sufficient funds to support yourself and have medical cover, (i.e. private medical insurance).
