Tape for opening/closing shutter has broken and disappeared, shutter on double door onto balcony. 12mm tape, length required 5mtrs (2.5 x height of door).

Hi
I assume you mean the cloth tape that you pull up your persiana (white slatted exterior shield cover) or allow it to fall.
if so you can buy them at Leroy Merlín, the mechanics are accessed from either inside or outside (depending on design) by removing the cover from the white box

Thanks Al, I have access now to the broken tape and can manage to work the shutter up/down but really need a professional to fit a new one.

Unfortunately I cannot totally remove the cover over the workings, some of the securing screws are in an inaccessible position, and I suspect an experienced person would have the solution, thanks again Al for your hel
