Hi all we are making the move at last and have bought a place in Hacienda del Mar. Will my digital TV pick up the communal TV channels or do I need a decoder box.

Thanks in advance

Your smart TV will pick up UK TV; with a VPN on a device like Firestick, also HDMI via computer with VPN,  problems, if on  router, you have to have to flush and install new software; \good luck. .   .

I brought our UK purchased Samsung Smart tv with us.

Terrestrial TV will obviously be in Spanish but it depends on what you set up.

We have Movistar internet and their channels can be switched to English language providing the original track was available in English. It tends to be American programmes.

After trying various cheap IPTV systems we have been with Orbit (Estepona) for the last two years and get all the UK stations plus Sky Sports etc. We also get the latest films and Box sets.

You realise 'bootleg TV', eventually these services will be shut down.

Well if it is then a lot of businesses will go under. If the big companies made things more available then perhaps we would not have to do it this way. In the meantime I will enjoy the service.

I'm pretty sure many more will be shut down, do you think it's right to sell something which does not belong to you? Most can watch UK TV via a personal VPN, the bootleg TV operators are just hooking in via VPN's & relaying locally. Note in recent months authorities have arrested the managers of some of these illegal IPTV platforms, and in countries like Italy or Spain, these activities are strongly prosecuted.
