I'm sorry, just adding useful information how the market works here. In your very first post you stated "I realise the oxymoron of "trustworthy estate agent", but I'm ever hopeful!"  You also asked for  "Any recommendations?"  Have a nice day. - David. 

Can I just say that Holaitsdavid is one of the most helpful people on this forum. He takes the time and effort to try to help as many people as he can. I think your comments are very condescending and there will maybe come a time when you would welcome his advice.

There may, or may not, come such a time. But this post was to get details of agents, not to draw from his/her knowledge and opinion about buying a house in Spain.

Thanks for that Caz, I did post a lot of information, but might be useful for some people, Spain is unlike the UK, where you can pin down prices easily via Rightmove and with easy access to Land Registry data. People need to be very carful and needs a lot of research, however, even in the UK, you would not go to one recommended agent, you would search the market place. Just trying to be helpful and hopefully save some people money,. 

OK. I can see that, despite you not once even bothering to enquire about my level of experience in buying property in Spain, you are not going to settle until you get to tell me, and anyone else reading this, how it all works and how well you understand it all and how you alone can save me from making a huge costly mistake.

So c'mon. now is your time to shine. Let's pretend I'm a total novice at this game. Please save me from myself and explain to me everything I need to know? 

I can't promise to come back and read your sage advice, but I don't think you much care about things like that.

And once again, I asked for recommendations for agents. Nothing more.

I know that David. You go above and beyond for most people. I was just annoyed that that person couldn’t see that. However, I’m sure it’s helped others who have read this.

There’s just no pleasing some people 😱
