To paint the stair well and ? lounge. 

My husband has hurt his arm and is unable to paint the high wall on the stairs. I cannot reach even with a ladder.

We already have the paint.

I'm driving down from scotland but bringing husband and small dog to Luis sabinnhlas.  Any advice of where to stop in France and Spain on route.  I think it will take me 3 nights.  Also what are toll costs now.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

I need to get a Health Card to be in the system to be offered a vaccine.

I have Residencia, NIE, Social Security Number as pay tax in Spain etc.....so eligible.

I understand that you can get via the Social Security Office or The Local Health Centre.

I tried to the Social Security office on Avenue Andalucia today (March 5) but closed and can only get appointments electronically.......I think...my Spanish I am afraid not quite up to it. However, the security guard (so not sure how qualified he is to give this advice) said I would have to get a health card via the health service. 

So, the 2 centres in Estepona I can find online are located:

1. Servicio Andaluz de Salud - Calle Miguel de María Luque, 2, 29680 Estepona, Málaga

2. Health Centre Estepona - Calle Cristóbal Ruiz Méndez, 19, 29680 Estepona, Málaga

Is this correct? And also which is the better one to go to. (I walked past the Centre on Calle Cristóbal Ruiz Méndez with a long que and only 1 person on reception.)

Would the centre on Calle Miguel be better? 

Anyone have experience of getting a health card and any advice gratefully received.

FOR ANYONE THINKING ABOUT RETIRING TO SPAIN- CHECK TAX STATUS FIRST

I was hoping to retire to the Costa Del Sol as soon as I could sort out my "non-lucrative visa" here in the UK and the flights were back up and running.  However, now we have left the EU and you want to become a resident in Spain you will need to check your tax status.  I asked the question IF I SELL MY PROPERTY IN THE UK "HOW MUCH TAX WILL I HAVE TO PAY ON MY UK PROPERTY IF I BECAME A TAX RESIDENT IN SPAIN".  (I WAS ADVISED TO ASK THIS QUESTION)

The reply that came back was  IF YOU BOUGHT A PROPERTY IN THE UK IN 2004 FOR £150,000 AND ARE SELLING IT NOW FOR £250,000 - SPANISH CAPITAL TAX ON THE SALE WOULD BE APPROX 20,000 EUROS!!!!

HAS ANYBODY ELSE COME ACROSS THIS?  I WOULD BE INTERESTED TO HEAR FROM ANYONE ON THIS MATTER.

Hello I have been living in Alhaurin el grande for a year nearly and find it hard to get work , I have all legal paper work to work out here and have 25 years experience in the game running gangs from 2-50 men a day , my skills include drainage, paving, concrete, all landscaping , fencing , bricklaying, and many more , I have been driving plant e.g. diggers dumpers etc for 25 years and have real pride in my work if any one would give me an opportunity it would be much appreciated and you won’t regret it , thanks in advance for any help

I came to estapona in October 2020.  I have a rental income in the UK   Registered on the padron and have health insurance both February 2021.  

The gestoria submitted credit card statement showing I was spending money in October here.  Contract for apartment dated 1st November but immigration are requesting proof I was here in 2020?

Any advice would be appreciated it was an expensive exercise to get out here and tied in to a contract etc.
