AREME The Estepona Foreign Residents Association has invited the British Consulate and 3 other speakers to a Seminar on LIFE AFTER BREXIT. We are offering you the opportunity in an Open Meeting to ask the experts in their field those questions that are causing concern since the UK left the EEC.
The meeting is being held in Estepona PALACIO de CONGRESOS on FRIDAY, the 6th OF MAY. The meeting starts at 10.30 am and doors are open from 10.am. The speakers attending are the British Consulate Charmaine, James Green Blevins Franks,Niel Hesketh, Support in Spain, and Aleksandra Broch from Estepona Town Hall.
Please come and support these busy people who have agreed to come to answer YOUR QUESTIONS and give their advice and help. ENTRANCE IS FREE with good parking and there is seating for 120 people so do come and join us on Friday the 6th of May.

I have recently moved to the area. I am looking for a part time waitressing job Monday to Thursday day shifts. I have great experience as used to be a F&B manager in a hotel in Ireland.
i am awaiting my nie number to come through
Job would have to be walking distance around la cala de Mijas

Have read up about tax if we retire to spain, but am very unsure and would like to speak face to face with someone..also to understand the requiremet for what funds we need for the first 5 years .

Morning everyone
Thanks to everyone who answered my post about banking and insurance, it was really helpful. We complete the purchase of our house on 6th May and fairly soon would like to make some alterations so could anyone recommend a good local architect who ideally speaks some English? We have started our Spanish learning but realistically it is too soon to have that conversation, we will probably end up with a basement we don't want.
Also, looking a step further can anyone recommend a good builder?
