Both my wife and myself are considering relocating to Spain and to Nerja in particular. We are both over 70 and have health issues, me particularly as I have just started Hormone treatment for Prostate Cancer.
What are our/my options in Nerja? My wife is a French national and therefore would, I believe, have no barriers to receiving healthcare in the EU, despite have lived in Scotland for the past 50 years.
As I am a UK citizen only, would I have to take private medical insurance to receive health care, and what standards of health care would I get should I not take out private medical insurance?
