My family and i are travelling from torrox to Comares on Friday, for a week. There are 6 of us and luggage. Any recommendations for a reasonably priced local taxi firm? The taxi companies in line just quote to go to and from the airport and can't quote outside of that.

Are you still looking for a taxi to Comares? There is a 7 seater taxi in Comares, a very nice reliable chap, you can book by email or whatsapp. I will dig out the dtls if you like? My parents live in the area and Jose has taken them up and down to Torrox before.

We have to be out of our villa at 10 and unable to get into the new villa until 2 so we were thinking of getting the bus to Malaga and getting a taxi from there to waste a bit of time?
Not sure how practical this is though?
We have 4 suitcases and a bag each too.

My advice would be to go to Comares and have a long lunch!
But I will ask for a quote from Torrox or the Malaga bus station.
If you speak Spanish I can give you his details if you prefer?
Would the owner not allow bag drop off? We have a holiday villa for rent between Comares and Colmenar and try to.help.our guests as much as possible....
I think I know your villa its.near Los Ventorros isn't it? There are 2 nice places for lunch there!!

We don't speak Spanish!
Our villa owners have recommended a couple of taxi firms in torrox but they are all transfer companies!
They have said we can do a bag drop at the villa so that's fine.
Just need a taxi that's big enough for six of us and cases from torrox park at 10 on Friday.

I panick booked a firm from torrox today when I was out and about today and found a local company.
They're charging 70 euros for a mini bus to take us.(I was concerned there wasn't enough room in a 7 seater as we have a 7 seater in the uk and pack it up like the clampits!) 🙄
