Fire grate

Can anyone help please as we have moved into a property and there is an open fire and chimney but no wrought iron grate to burn logs on. Does anyone know please where we can buy one?

Hi Linda. PleSe get a professional chimney / fire grate person in to look at your set up. It’s not as simple as putting in a log holder. Your system needs to be checked by a professional. I don’t live in your area so can’t recommend anyone but please get someone to check the system before you light a match. Alan x

Yes, I'd get the chimney checked - especially if it hasn't been used for a while. Leroy Merlin sell a variety of stuff for fireplaces.
