I believe La Casa closes for the month of January only. If you wish to dine there I think they open about 4 or 5 evenings per week.

Don't know your age group but check the bus company Alsa for excellent offers to nearby towns like Nerja and Malaga:

...life and there are fewer restaurants open than in the summer. Some restauranteurs take their main breaks in the winter and there are fewer restaurants open generally. In the plaza some restaurants have gas heaters when you sit outside in the evening and you may find it more comfortable to sit inside - there is one largeish restaurant in the plaza which has a good deal of indoor seating and there are a few at the Costa too.
