Water supply in the campo

My sister lives in the campo my brother in law said ask a neighbour who is supplying your water it may be turned off . Look and see what it says on your meter 

Hi, do you have a water supply contract with Aqualia, the local mains (drinking water) water supplier? They have an office next to Cafeteria Torrox on the main road through the village towards Competa.  other water suppliers are of agricultural water, called Rio Torrox and Patamalara. Also, check where your pipe into the water tank comes from, there may be another tap at a meter box.

Thank you so much for replying. We had a plumber visit this morning, the pump needed a new part. It’s all fixed now.

Hi New to this forum, question about water from patamalara water , we are up in the Campo between torrox and competa, we have had no water for nearly a week now , lucky we have storage. Has anyone else got problems, we are going into the office on Monday with our limited Spanish. Just thought I'd with other people also

Hello - we must be near you. Water from well has now been used and nothing to pump up. Could do with delivery truck to dump a few hundred gallon. How have you managed ? Are you sorted yet

Hi Dave. I hope you are still around helping people. My husband owns a property with some land in Rio Torrox, main place at the end of address is Periana. We have had no water whatsoever for 8 days now so I am wondering if it is possible, and how and where to pay for water. Some people near us have something called pottable water...excuse my spelling....and they always have water, even drinking water. We have no Spanish as we are Irish so find it hard to know where to go or who to ask for help. Any help will be much appreciated......... Geraldine.
