In Los Alamos, is there a reason our electrics trip if we have the cooker, the a/c, hairdrier and kettle on.

It happened to us in Nueva Andalucia too.

Can this be altered/upgraded.

I have heard that you can upgrade but hopefully someone else can advise you on this. Always use a qualified Spanish regulated electrician or your electric utility company.

We have had this happen once when a new electric heater was being used but then by a process of illimination found the heater was faulty and took it back to the shop to exchange it. However overloading can cause the fuses to trip even without a faulty appliance.

In the meantime you could just try to not overload the circuit by switching off something while using others but I suppose thats obvious.

Hope this helps.
