Hello everyone. Very daunting for me to be moving to Torremolinos on my own.   I'm hoping to firstly rent for a while to check out the area..(I have only been here 3 times on holiday). I intend buying a 1 bed apartment. Any tips/ideas/ advice etc would be greatly appreciated. This forum is a life saver for me because there are so many topics  that I may need at a later stage.. Thank you. 🌞

Hello Helen. Very brave of you to move over on your own. I am also a single female and , although I have not moved out permanently yet I have bought an apartment in Torrenueva. and will be spending quite a bit of time there from March time this year. If you wish t meet up any time at all

and have a drink together I would be more than happy to meet. I am not in Torremolinos but Torrenueva is not too far away.

Regards

Elaine

Hello Helen

Welcome

Just to say that I have moved out here in my own . It was difficult at first but I joined the following groups and met some lovely people

I joined Costa women online

I started my own Meet Up (that is the the aName of the groups all over the world )

I also have joined a couple of other meet ups

I did some charity work which was also good

I also attend Pranic healing .

So I would say the key is to get out there and introduce yourself to as many groups of people as you can .

I have only just found this group but good luck and maybe we could go for a coffee sometime

Best Regards Mandy

Thank you so much Mandy. That is extremely helpful. I am at the early stages yet.. I will be going back in a few months for a short break so maybe we could meet for a coffee then? I'll be in touch.  Thank you again Mandy.

I am also hoping to move to La Cala de Mijas later in the year. So many things to learn, but just be positive. A new start a lot of single people seem to be heading to the area, looking for something.

Hi Mandy, hope you're well.

Sorry to jump on an older post however I have just moved here on my own and it's hard! You mentioned you've joined meet up groups do you have the details? I cant find any social groups locally or on meetup.

Thanks so much, Julie

Not anywhere near the beach or tourist hotels. I was there for 3 months and hated it
