Costa Del Sol family holiday with teenagers

Hi,

My mum and I are planning a trip to Spain with my 16 year old son and 13 year old daughter (hubby is working and dog sitting). We are trying to decide on a location. Mum has been to Benalmadena many times so it would be nice to visit a new area for her and it is my teens first trip abroad.

We all like relaxing by the pool, swimming, beach, water activities, visiting local towns/shops and sites, theme parks and restaurants/bars at night. We want somewhere with lots to do but not too rowdy.

Where in Costa Del Sol would be a good choice. Someone suggested Torremolinos. We are also considering Salou in Costa Dorada.

Any suggestions and ideas would be gratefully received and suggestions for hotels/apartments too. Thank you😊
