Hi this question may have been answered already but bare with me I'm new to the forum lol. With the ever changing covid rules is it easy enough to get a pre departure pcr test in torremolinos? I am travelling at the end of Sept from the UK and will have to take a test within 72hrs of my return flight if anyone knows of anywhere in torremolinos? and cost it would be much appreciated , I am staying in the palia las palomas.

Hi John

Currently, you do not need a PCR test, which is more expensive.

You can get an Antigen test, at Malaga Airport, which costs €24.45.

Most people book an appointment online so that you do not have to queue:

Hope you enjoy your trip.

Hi John

The airlines do not make the rules!

If they did, in all probability, there would be no restrictions at all by the likes of Ryanair and EasyJet . . . .

The rules for travel to UK are set by the UK government.

You can either have a PCR test or a lateral flow antigen test:

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-testing-for-people-travelling-to-england

The PCR test is more sensitive but it also is more expensive, so few travelers will choose this.

You can take the test anytime up to 3 days before your flight departs.

This is slightly longer than 72 hours before departure.

Best regards

Philip
