Thank you Gingko, I did go and see Ana (my Spanish is OK) but she was quite negative about helping me? She did not think it was possible to rent me a winter let so that I could get my empadronmento. I went elsewhere, they had no issue with my request. NB She also has for rent a Scandi lady's apartment which I had seen on FB, but when I asked she said she didn't have any details. All very odd! (Owner of said apartment whom I then spoke to was a bit upset of course..)

Definately strange as many people sent me there. Perhaps not everyone needs a padron?

I am waiting on two apartments coming vacant soon, but it is always good to have other options in case they do not work out, but I am hoping the agent I am with is good to his word :-)
