Nothing wrong with cleaners or trolley collectors. They both hold important roles that enhance a shoppers experience when in a bricks & mortar shop, maybe not so much when using the website You seem to be suggesting that they worth less by saying "just" a cleaner.... As I said previously I re...

...ally don't need to justify myself to you or anyone. It was simply a view of a situation that you can accept or not. It matters not to me. I won't be commenting further and will now unfollow this thread.

I was in no way demeaning cleaners or trolley collectors... just that it would be unlikely that they would need to know the rules in the retail industry (like false advertising!).... you, who claim to know the industry inside out, should know full well when you see illegal practices.... er.. that they are clearly ILLEGAL.... and not try and defend the indefensible!.... well done to the person who at least had the decency to alert us to this scam... and shame on you for trying to play it down...

My mistake..sorry

It's Andy who looks like the official fobber off for Dunnes....

Hi

At the end of the day Dunnes is a multi million turnover company as their website says "Dunnes Stores is Ireland's largest retailer. We're privately owned, and proud to be an Irish company. We operate 134 stores across Ireland, Northern Ireland and Spain, as well as a growing online store. Our guiding principle is to deliver good quality products at competitive prices. So their website should be correct and they must address issues

They are not a one man band!! So from feedback they should look at their existing systems and correct if required

The point raised by me cited the Parasol as an example but I,m sure that anyone seeing the New lower price highlight under photo would assume that the item was reduced or that there there was a promotion in store In Republic of Ireland it was €40 but €50 in torre del mar (I seem to recall that their website has a number of items with this new lower price underneath

So the new lower price is misleading  and I refer to the link below
