Hiya there peeps,

I'm looking for a cheap Spanish runabout vehicle please.

I live on Alcaucin and have just moved from England 3 weeks ago and need transport to get around. The car doesn't have to be anything fancy as long as I can get from A -B for general use.

The car preferably automatic as I have some disabilities but it doesn't stop me driving.

As I said not bothered re type of vehicle will use manual if that's all that is available but would be grateful for automatic.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards

Roland

Are you aware you can only drive for  6 months on a UK licence in Spain, if have a 'British' license? If you are an EU citizen fine you can swap your licence.   CAB Spain (citizensadvice.org.es)

So far no deal with UK to Swap, the last date to hand licence was 20th Dec 2020.while still EU citizens, UK has still not done a swap deal and people right now need to take a Spanish driving test.

Third countries with which Spain has signed agreements for the exchange of permits are: Andorra, Algeria, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, South Korea, Croatia, Ecuador, Japan, Morocco, Peru, Dominican Republic, Paraguay, Switzerland, Uruguay , Venezuela, Brazil, El Salvador, the Philippines, Guatemala, Serbia, Turkey, Tunisia and Ukraine.

Hiya there,

Thank you for your reply appreciate it but yes i am aware of the situation and keep myself aquainted with what is going on.

At the moment im am doing the 90 days stay so it would help me in the interim.

My friend has already mentioned about the Highway code i would have to learn

before taking my test not easy but these things have to be done.

kind regards

Roland
