Hello Manilva group.

Getting through the stages of a 3 -4 month hire in Manillva- Jan - April.2020 "Climatic migrator". The place has a wood burning stove which will be great to have at  that time of the year. Owner is  only a summer user, so has no info  re wood supplies- Any tips would be appreciated.

Hi Keith,

Welcome!  I also noticed you posted something in the Estepona group with no responses but do not worry about that.  Sometimes the post doesn't have an answer immediately so people don't respond. Also the groups are sometimes smallish as this Forum is somewhat new.

For the wood burning stove situation were you looking for someone to deliver wood to you?  I use Manuel from here: https://www.facebook.com/Firewoodforfireplace/

Really it depends on how much wood you need or whether in fact you wanted some other kind of information about fire building supplies.

If you have other questions please keep posting.  Hope you enjoy your stay in the neighbourhood!  :)

Thanks Kerry.

I think we be ok as the owner is  going  to have  wood delivered in time for our early arrival in Jan when we will need iit. There  is other sources of heating but although we live in a nice apartment with mostly under floor  heating at home. One thing  I miss in wintertime is an open log fire. A comfy chair. Dog at my feet. Good book in one hand and good whisky in the other . My wife will a least will  like the open fiŕe.

Thanks for the tip. We are escaping from the  worst of the winter months in Norway.

Did a test run last winter. No looking  back. Now dedicated cilmatic migrators.

Greetings
