Wanted: Gas bottle

Sometimes see them for sale at the markets . I saw some at the Coin market at  la trocha which is on a Sunday. But there may be a market new to you. Cheers Ian  Almogia.

Hi,  We found out the hard way that it is ni on impossible to buy the original gas bottle.  We were advised to try Trocha Sunday market and luckily we found a couple there, so definitely worth a try.   We then managed to buy another one from friends moving back to the U.K.  From memory (a long time ago now!)  my hubby says we had to enter into a (paid) contract,  and we bought our original one from a Michelin garage in Coin.  Sorry cannot be more helpful, but secondhand is probably your best chance. You have to buy an original bottle which is quite expensive and then you can change it for a refill at any place which sells them for between 17 to 20 euros. There is a gas bottle depot on the Estepona Poligano which might sell you an original. From Duquesa go on the A7 towards Marbella but before you join the AP7 take the slip road to the right which is signposted for the Poligano.  At the little roundabout turn right and the depot is on your right. There is also a garden centre next to the car dealer where the road up to Monte Duquesa joins the A7 towards Sotogrande which sells gas bottles. You will also need the on and off valve and rubber tubing which you can buy at the ferretaria near the tyre garage in Sabinillas.

Repsol.  Standard size to be used with heating units.  Not sure of the actual size but all the ones you see at the Petrol stations have these standard sizes.
