Hi - I am a divorced lady looking to make a permanent move to Los Boliches.  I am looking for a 2 bed apartment within walking distance of all amenities, shops, bars, restaurants, beach etc.   I have said from January 2019 but if something came up sooner, then I would be prepared to take it up.  I am looking to pay between 450 and 700 euros a month.  Is this feasible? I don't want a rental with any break (i.e. July or August).   Any help would be appreciated.   Many thanks.

Hi Spanishsunawaits,

Permanent long-term, ie; yearly (or longer) contracts, seem to becoming rarer to come by, but they're obviously still around.

Your budget sounds reasonable for a two-bed place, but I think you'll be looking at the upper end of it, especially if you're booking through an agent. Compared to some other places nearby, it's quite expensive to rent in Los Boliches but I'm sure you'll find somewhere.

I don't know if you have any estate agent details, but this might help if you don't. If nothing else, you can get in touch with some of them and ask if what you're looking for is/will be available.

Good luck!

EDIT; Spanishsunawaits, I just saw this post on this forum, which may be a good starting point.

Hi - thank you so much for replying.  Very helpful.  I am coming to Los Boliches in Sept for a week and intend to personally visit as many agents as I can to leave my details.  I appreciate I will have to pay the top end of my budget if I go with an agent, and this really is a bit too high for me, if I’m honest.  I was hoping to be able to use word of mouth.  I have a friend who lives there and hoping for her help but no news as yet.
