Where in Torreblanca/Los Boliches can I get a Covid-19 test for returning to the UK? Which one do I need and do I need to book? Returning late September 2021.

Information available is overwhelming and confusing.

Thank you

Debbie

Take care friend of mine sorted a Covid test on line, turned out to be false, it caused big problems arrival UK.

This a legit well known Lab in Fuengirola.

I have booked mine at the airport 24.99 but there is also San Francisco clinic 45 euros near bus station fuengirola, nordic clinic fuengirola 45 euros and the medical centre Los Boliches. I chose the airport on the price. You can select your time slot

However, that would mean going to the airport on another day before you fly.

Do you have to book for the one near the bus station?

Yes. You can use the airport on the same day providing they have slots but we are close to the train station so it's not so bad. As far as I know most places require appointments but they are usually open until late. San Francisco is just across the road from the bus station in fuengirola

I’d consider getting sorted at the airport

I’ve booked an Antigen test online for Malaga airport for 2 hours before departure in September (no bag to check in)

My wife has returned to UK and had her pre-booked test there yesterday. There were no more than 4 or 5 people in her queue. There were many more in the ‘non-appointment’ queue. The appointments queue had priority

She was all done within 15 minutes and the result was emailed to within 20 minutes as promised

The hardest part was finding the location of the test centre - because there is a myriad of unhelpful Covid posters with arrows pointing in all directions around the ground floor areas (arrivals/station etc)

In fact the testing unit is on the upper level immediately to the left of the newly relocated Departures Terminal entrance where the old and new terminal buildings are joined. (To the right are all the departure check-in desks with Ryanair at the far end nearer security)

The (unmarked) Test queue on the left is for appointments and the one on the right for non-appointments

Only one problem doing it at the airport immediately before flying back to UK - what if the test is positive?

Well even if its the day before and positive it will be a shock! My husband and I have both had covid but our 15 year old hasnt so it's a worry everyone has to consider and that's not to say you can't get it twice because we can. Fingers crossed 🤞
