... connection to other towns/cities. I’m leaning towards Fuengirola due to its larger size but any tips would be really helpful to narrow things down. So far, my favourite has been Alicante. I think Estepona is a little further from other towns than I’d like but I’m willing to hear others’ views.

Make sure and pop to Mijas Pueblo and Benalmadena pueblo whilst you are there.

€1.10  approximately on the bus from either Fuengirola or Benalmadena to either Pueblo.
