Health Insurance recommendations

Can anyone recommend a Health Insurance company that speak English and also is accepted for obtaining residency in Spain.

Avoid Aegon at all costs. They're appalling and refused to help for a very serious accident which made our situation even worse. Aegon were sold to us as having optional English-speaking staff which was largely untrue as they were nearly always not available and my Spanish didn't cover medical terminology. An utter waste of money. Unprofessional and basically a scam for post-Brexit health insurance requirements.

I second Sanitas, have used them for our NLV and for renewal. Service has been great using Clinica del Rio here in Estepona. But the Sanitas card is looked upon favourably whatever we have needed!
