I have a mobile home near Fuengirola on the camp site Suomi Villlage.

What is the situation in this area regarding the virus?

Are people travelling out to their homes in Spain ?

Are people saying it's ok if you are careful and follow the guidelines of is it a no no.?

Need some advice.

Thank you     Wendie

Hi wendie, just returned after 3 weeks in costa, went for 3 weeks my wife has a lowered immune system we were concerned but there are far more controls in Spain than the U.K.Be prepared to wear a mask at all times in public spaces shops

Life continues in Spain slightly different but if your prepared to wear a mask 24/7 it’s fine our airline going out 50 passengers coming home 40 so felt better as fewer people on board

Would I return ABS

Wendy,

My recent experience of visiting the Marbella area is that although face masks are worn in public (except when eating and drinking) albeit quiet things are carrying on as best as they can to ‘normal’. Hope this helps.

Thank you, probably safer than here.

Just have to accept the fourteen day quarantine when l get back. Don't think that's going to change any time soon.

Cost del sol is probably.safer than uk. More and more areas in England having lockdown.

Hi Wendy

we spent 10 weeks in our home in Casares costa from July this year . We felt quite safe , people are respecting space and wearing masks .  It actually feels better than the UK.

Good Luck

Regards Jan

Are you are living in an area, that is under "local lock-down"?  you may not be allowed to travel abroad ?

Hi,

I am a little inland but travel to Fuengirola, Torremolinos and Malaga regularly. Masks have to be worn and some do practice social distancing, others don't. It all seems quite relaxed here now, just take your own precautions if you are a bit concerned.

We arrived Sun staying in Calahonda. We have no concerns and people appear to be compliant with covid rules. Mask wearing when walking on streets seems overkill but people doing it. All good.
