Reference the question re 90/180 days.
If one of the couple has an EU passport and THEY ARE RESIDENT IN AN EU COUNTRY then when they travel together the non-EU passport holder is not restricted to the 90day limit.
However if they are resident in a NON EU country, for example the UK then the 90 day rule still applies to the non EU passport holder.
