Visiting Elviria next Saturday for a week and wondering what local bus services are available to visit Gibraltar, La Cala, Marbella and Furngirolla please.

The Rome to Río website or Rome to Rio app is quite useful.

Also Google maps can indicate in real time which bus services are available.

Thank you. The app says there is a bus out of Elviria just once a week, is that correct? It seems strange for such a popular urbanisation.

Sorry, I have no idea.

It's probably better looking at connecting from Marbella.

There is a bus hub there.

Just get a bus to La Linea, and walk across the border, really simple to do.

Can I get a public bus from Marbella or Elviria to La Linea please? Thank you for your reply, I was hoping there would just be an easy way to visit!

Yes you can, there are bus services all the way to Gibraltar and beyond.

You may have to change on route, but I doubt it very much, la Linea is a major bus terminal.

Many people just simply walk in to Gibraltar, mainly because it can be very bad at times to go in and out by car, delays of over 4 hours are not unheard of.

Good Morning,

The avanza website may be helpful, I've included a link showing which lines go where. You can also search

origin < - >destination ..etc.

https://malaga.avanzagrupo.com/en/routes-and-timetables/bus-lines

In general the whole coast is really very easily accessible via bus.
