Internet you can turn on and off
Can anyone recommend a fibre-optic broadband internet provider who provides a service that can be turned on and off so that it is only active, and we only pay for it, when we are in Spain?

Hi
FOBOS Telecom have a holiday home rate, we pay for up to 6 months use per year. Radio based, not fibre optic. Hope this helps. Andrew
Thanks. Do you know what the speed is? Is it good enough for working from home with two laptops and two mobiles?

Ours runs at around 15Mbps. Laptop and TV run great at same time, not tried the multiple devices you hope to use.
Signal strength will depend where you are in relation to their transmitter, I expect Fobos can advise on this

Hi we use Olivenet their office is in Pueblo Nuevo. We find them excellent. As long as you give them notice they turn off/on your broadband as and when required. Hope this helps
Can anyone help please? We are staying in a Holiday Apartment for 1 month and although it has Wifi it only has spanish satellite programs on the TV and my spanish is just not good enough to be able to understand all. I have a mag box from my previous home and wondered if there are any suppliers of British packages that I can hire for one month.
I will be looking for a place to rent for a year so this will be ongoing.
Many thanks for looking,

Hi, we've been using a VPN, it's around £100 for 3 years subscription, it lets you use all the UK TV and radio apps as you would in the UK, it's easy to use on your laptop/mobile and tablets. It was a pain to get the smart TV but eventually got there, I'm happy with it.
Hope this helps!
