You could try Secure Solutions in Nerja. Very reasonably priced and they do everything for you, including taking you for fingerprints and to collect TIE. Goo

Hi,

I am an Irish citizen moving to Spain in October. I have been quoted €500 for assistance in my application for residency. It looks like a fairly straightforward process? Should I attempt this myself? Any thoughts much appreciated.

Hi Joanne

Please do NOT attempt to do this application yourself - you need professional help and preferably someone who is based near you who know the local Town Hall personnel. We applied in Estepona with a wonderful Lawyer who knew everyone whenever we went for an appointment.  Do not does this yourself.  Alan

Hi, we are from Ireland and we did it ourselves four years ago. Your local town hall should have a foreigners dept and I found them very helpful. Linda and Sandy
