We are busy trying to learn a little Spanish ready for the move and although excited are incredibly daunted and nervous about starting our new life.
Any hints and tips about how to join groups, begin socialising and making friends in the area would be extremely welcome.

Hi - my husband and I (60 & 50) are retiring this year too and we are looking at La Cala possibly La Cala golf area. Currently have apartment in Puerto Banus so we know the whole coast very well but looking forward to making it our permanent home soon. House in Scotland goes up for sale in 2 weeks 🤩. Very excited. We are looking forward to meeting other couples when we get out too. Looking forward to golfing, walks with dogs, learning Spanish and socialising and of course the sun 😎. Good luck 👍
