We’ve recently joined this forum since we are planning the next chapter and adventure in our lives.   Next year we are hoping to spend several months of the year in wonderful Andalusia.  We have seen websites where folks who want pets, houses, gardens, pools etc maintained whilst away, register their needs. These requirements are then matched with people offering such a service.  This seems to be a very pragmatic idea, benefitting both parties.

We were wondering whether anyone has had experience of such arrangements and would like to share their thoughts?

I have used TrustedHousesitters when I go away.  It has worked really well for me (and for the house sitters).  In fact I have usually been inundated with requests all over the world.  I can usually whittle these down quickly based on my specific circumstances though.

Good luck with your new plans.
