hi, my father passed away last year and was in the process of changing the brakes on his Lexus. It is currently on ramps without its wheels at his house so I desperately need someone to help get it roadworthy in order for me to be able to sell it. It would need to be worked on in situ as it can't be driven obviously but he has all the necessary parts and tools there available to use. I am currently in the UK so would need some advance notice in order to come over to let someone in as the property is secured.

Many thanks in advance for any help possible as I'm at a bit of a loss as to where to get help

Hi Louise.

I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing, my condolences.

My son-in-law, Simon, has a vehicle repair business in Velez-Malaga, he's well respected and has been a Spanish resident for over 20 years. He is very obliging, but you may be a little too far away for him to help, but his business is called ......... Talleres Simon, email .. [email protected], and his number is +34 609823137. If I was over there, I would do it for you, I'm a time-served mechanic (retired). Regards, Steve.

Hi, thank you so much for your reply. My father's passing was so sudden and unexpected that I'm still in shock. To be honest I'm a wreck.

If Simon is prepared to help but doesn't want to commute I would be more than happy to book him into GCE hotel in Cartama and pay the bill.

My father also has a garage full of expensive tools so perhaps he could have some also by way of thanks?

Please let me know if this is something you think he would consider.

Many thanks and kind regards,

Louise

Be careful who you trust in this time. My condolences, but be aware that people will try and take advantage of the situation.
