Can anyone recommend a place to buy security shutters for my late father's house? It has been broken into so I am flying out tomorrow to kick them out but need to secure it before leaving again on Saturday.

Many thanks

Hello.

I can help you with the security shutters but it is unlikely that you will be able to get anything prepared in a matter of 3/4 days.

Also, if the people have been in the house more than 48 hours you may find the police won´t be able to help you remove them. I don´t want to be the bearer of bad news but I do think you should research a little to plan you method of dealing with this.

Kindest regards.

Hi, they broke in yesterday and I'm having them removed today.

I've just arrived in Spain so will be trying to secure it somehow before I leave again on Saturday

Ah ok, great. Sounds like you got there just in time. I wish you the best of luck.

Best of luck Louise. Check out 'okupas' or 'quitaokupas' on YouTube- if they are already living in your dad's house, you need to act fast  - the police only have power for 24-48 hours.. After which its a court battle.

You are not legally allowed to cut off the water or electric either.. 'he' has to pay it while they live there. Leave everything in his name until they are gone. If he has passed away he can't pay it.
